“Kseniya Simonova is a Ukrainian artist who won the Ukraine’s version of “America’s Got Talent” [this past summer]. She uses a giant light box, dramatic music, imagination and “sand painting” skills to interpret Germany’s invasion and occupation of Ukraine during WWII. “
“The Great Patriotic War, as it is called in Ukraine, resulted in one in four of the population being killed with eight to 11 million deaths out of a population of 42 million.”
The old saying goes “Music soothes the savage beast“…So why not peace through music?
Playing For Change: Song Around the World “Stand By Me”
From the award-winning documentary, “Playing For Change: Peace Through Music“, comes the first of many “songs around the world” being released independently. Featured is a cover of the Ben E. King classic “Stand By Me” by musicians around the world adding their part to the song as it travelled the globe. This and other songs such as “One Love” will be released as digital downloads soon; followed by the film soundtrack and DVD early next year.

Are you right-brained or left brained? Most of you will see the image turning clockwise.
If the image is turning clockwise, then you are using the right side of the brain, and vice versa.
You may be able to reverse the way the image is turning.
Someone may be able to suggest that the image is turning the opposite direction to you and it will start turning the opposite way.
About 10% of you will be left-brained. I’m one of you.
While I’m a “righty” in all other things, I can’t get the image to turn clockwise no matter how hard I try!
