I will say though, that twice during the night the Mayor says he believes he knows how the vote is going to go before it is taken….I can’t believe he even goes there. 6:33 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ #6 A long discussion regarding the Alderman Skowronski motion…and the order he made the motion….then the vote is taken..after the Mayor says “my Veto probably has four votes to override,” and then Alderman Sohns unofficially flip-flops (even the Mayor had the inclination he was voting No…)  On this Council you don’t necessarily vote the way you believe your constituents would want you to vote.  At the last minute you change your mind because someone throws out a motion and you admit you want to see other people work on it…Go figure. So there you have it…Veto stands…with an immediate discussion on how to deal with it because fee waivers are “illegal.”  Just another day in Franklin.
